How to photograph and take pictures of various objects using various techniques for better pictures requires different methods to be successful.
Astrophotography: This is the most difficult type of photography, mainly because all the objects are 385,000 miles to millions of miles away with minimal light. How to photograph and get good photographs requires some knowledge of astronomy.
Portrait Photography : Requires knowledge of lighting and how to pose a person.
Table top: Lighting techniques and an imagination for making a good photograph.
Landscape Photography: Taking advantage of the time of day for lighting and seeing a picture.
Sports Photography: Knowledge of the sport and camera:
Wedding Photography: Wide of variety of locations, quite often just once chance to take the picture. How to photograph a group of people who aren’t always easy to get along with. Planning ahead of time.
Sunrise-Sunset Photography: Must be set up ahead of time. The good picture does not come every day.
Macro: Takes patience, skill, and understanding of magnification.

All the above are somewhat different and require different skills and equipment. Complete knowledge of your camera is a absolute requirement.
