Photography Composition
Photographic composition is how to see a good picture. It sounds easy, but is it? Pick a location and have several photographers take a picture. The pictures will probably all be quit different. Why? Each photographer saw a different picture.
Photographic composition is something that is totally decided by the photographer. The price of the camera has nothing to do with it. Some people have the natural ability to see good photographic composition, other do not. It is something that has to be learned and it does not come over night. It comes with experience, studying a picture that was taken, have others looks at the picture and make suggestions, looking at pictures others have taken and even take some art classes.
When you decide to take a picture, you must have a subject. A picture with out a subject will have no interest or will not be worth looking at. When you decide on a subject, look at it though the view finder, then look at it again without the camera. Look for things that you do not want in the picture. Take them out, if possible. If you are using a zoom lens, it is very easy to change you photographic composition. By zooming in and out, you can either add objects to the composition or take them out. Depending on the distance to the subject, moving the camera in closer or farther away can also help change the composition.
Consider joining a camera that has competitions. You will learn what you are doing wrong and will he helped in correcting you mistakes.
