About Carl T. Hahn

Hi, I am Carl T. Hahn,  a retired forty-year successful business owner, moved from Wisconsin to Florida.

Ballroom dancing was one of my sports activities, and  there is dancing just about every night some where in the area. There is ballroom dancing on many of the cruise ships, and they have dance hosts for the ladies who come single and want someone to dance with. I have been on several cruises in the Caribbean and Northern Europe.  There will be more cruises in the future.

My main hobby is photography and videographing, and the reason for designing and building this web site was  the available knowledge. Belonging to several camera clubs, Tampa Bay Camera Club (TBCC) and the Photographic Society of America (PSA). They are a place to learn more about photography and meet people with the same interests.

There is always something to learn, as I went back to St. Petersburg College (SPC) and took courses in photography and astronomy. Even though credits are not the reason, the knowledge gained was well worth the time spent. tRg Studios in Tampa has also been helpful leaning various aspects of photography.

Joining the Tampa Bay Computer Society (TBCS) was also a great benefit. Any member can have their computer repaired free. That alone is well worth the price. Besides that, they have a wide variety classes, or SIGS. (Special Interest Groups). There are classes on computer operation, numerous programs such as Word Perfect, Excel, Access, photography, and many others.

This is where I was first introduced to web building and managing a home based business. June Hollister taught a  number of classes with her Largo Workshop. Tom Kiel, Anona Bay.com, also teaches a wide variety of classes on different methods of web site construction. Robert Rostick, commercial photographer, graphic artist, and trainer has been a help regarding various parts of this website.

Boating has slowed up, as  there is a 25 foot trawler in my yard being remodeled. Did not realize the size and problems of this venture.

Otherwise, they is never a lack of something interesting to do.

This site, Digital Photography Technology will continue to change and grow, and hope you enjoyed reading this page and all the others.
